2025 Reinke Electrogator® II Base

2025 Reinke Electrogator® II

The industry-leading electric pivot irrigation system, designed for durability, efficiency, and superior water distribution.

Features may include:

High-strength steel

The high-strength steel used in the Electrogator II pivots and front-feed systems can be up to 50% stronger than the steel used in competing irrigation systems. The result is a high-strength structure that weighs up to 20% less.

A Reinke system weighs up to three tons less (compared to our competitors' machines), resulting in less soil compaction.

Six thousand pounds less means considerably less stress and wear on the drivetrain and critical system components. This, in turn, means Reinke irrigation systems last longer, have less downtime, and require fewer repairs.

Towers and structural resistance
  • A wider tower base for greater stability.
  • It absorbs more stress on the tower and does not transfer it directly to the water pipe.
  • Reduced component wear to maximize system life.
  • A less intrusive structure improves water application at the tower and causes less damage to taller crops.
  • A less intrusive structure improves water application at the tower and causes less damage to taller crops.
  • Greater flotation for better performance.

The more stress is diverted from the water pipe, the better. That's why we placed 3-inch diameter galvanized reinforcements at the bottom of the truss instead of directly on the water pipe. The stress is distributed more evenly across the entire span, and more importantly, the pipes' longevity is greatly increased.

The hook and the catcher

The most efficient place to rotate within a cylinder is directly in the center, which is exactly where we place our hook and receiver joint. It allows for maximum flexibility in difficult terrain. Even when the span needs to be tilted slightly, this won't affect alignment. Additionally, the internal joint allows the boot to flex without overstretching, increasing its durability.

Does this system affect water flow? The answer is yes, a little. But according to a Clemson University study, it's minimal. The competition also suffers additional friction loss due to intrusive piping features such as T-joints, flow-pierced couplings, and deformed water hose connections. Once again, it's our superior engineering that brings yet another benefit to your operations.

Double-walled tower box

Reinke's unique double-walled tower case provides a moisture-free environment for electrical components—it's the last place you'll find condensation.

high-quality UV-resistant materials and unique design make it the toughest and most durable tower case in the industry. Finally, thanks to a mechanical safety device, no one can remove the cover without first disconnecting power to the tower.

V-RING SEAL

Our V-ring seal gasket offers so many benefits that it's surprising it hasn't already been imitated like many of our other innovations. For starters, each gasket fits securely inside the pipe, completely protected from the damaging effects of UV radiation.

Plus, unlike competitors' T-joints, which fit between two flanges, Reinke's V-ring seal creates stronger flange-to-flange contact (as opposed to flange, plastic flange, and flange) and combines the strength of two connected steel flanges (as opposed to interrupting the steel's strength with a plastic T-joint). Furthermore, connected flanges don't bend or settle, creating potential weak spots that could require future repairs.

Finally, the V-ring seal leaves a smooth internal surface on the pipe, while each T-joint has an internal lip that disrupts water flow at every connection. In every possible way, Reinke's V-ring seal system is simply a better way to connect pipe.
