2024 Vaderstad Carrier XL 425

The Carrier XL 425-725 high-speed disc is available in working widths between 13.9 to 23.8 feet. It can be fitted with 20- or 24-inch discs with adjustable angles to maximize performance in the field. This versatility makes it an ideal tool for deeper cultivation, incorporating heavy crop residue, breaking up pasture and many other applications. Front tool options help it adapt to many different farming operations as well.

The Carrier is used for high-speed primary tillage and seedbed preparation. The wide range of front tools, discs and packers enables the Carrier to handle the various challenges of modern farming – from ultra-shallow tillage to deeper incorporation. The versatility it brings to the farm saves passes, decreases machine cost per acre and provides the best start possible for the coming crop.

The available CrossCutter Disc performs well in cover crops or sizing small grain residue. Because of its specialized disc shape and premium quality Swedish steel, the CrossCutter Disc provides full-width tillage and intensive mixing at shallow working depths for creating the ideal seedbed.

To meet differing farming needs, Väderstad offers a wide range of discs for disc cultivators. With the right choice of discs you are able to optimize the working result on your fields, providing the best start possible for the next crop.

The adjustable MultiSet disc hubs allow the disc angle to be manually set to one of three positions between 11 and 17 degrees. This adjustment can help the user achieve uniform tillage and residue slicing at shallow working depths or good penetration when deeper tillage is required.

The maximum working depth is set on the machine, while operational depth settings are adjusted hydraulically from the cab. To ensure optimal slicing and uniform tillage, the front row of discs can be adjusted laterally via rigging screws.
